Sprezza - Dallas
Sprezza
Menu
The menu of Sprezza from Dallas contains about 33 different dishes and drinks. On average you pay about $15.6 for a dish / drink.
Sprezza, a restaurant that once stood out pre-pandemic, now seems to have lost its charm. Despite a welcoming staff and an extensive wine list, recent reviews have highlighted a decline in the menu selection, quality of ingredients, and overall dining experience. Some diners even reported instances of food poisoning, outdated ingredients, and limited availability of dishes. While the ambiance on the patio is lovely, it can be loud. On the positive side, there were mentions of great service, accommodating staff, and delicious food. However, the consensus seems to be that Sprezza is a shadow of its former self, with uncertainty about its future. Despite some positive experiences, such as memorable meals and exceptional service, the general sentiment is mixed, with concerns about the restaurant's long-term viability. If you manage to secure a reservation, consider trying the seasonal menu and unique cocktails for a potentially enjoyable dining experience.

The food and drinks were fantastic, and the service was excellent. I apologize for not taking pictures, but the food disappeared quickly and my camera was too slow. View all feedback.
What DallasDiner dislikes about Sprezza:
This was a very underwhelming experience. Pre-pandemic, Sprezza had an extensive menu, a wide variety of flavors, an amazing wine selection, and a very hospitable staff. This food selection is very limited, way overpriced for both quality and portion size, and the overall experience just wasn't what it was in 2019. View all feedback.
The interior has the most wonderful vibe, the servers were quick and nice to talk to, and the FOOD-so good!

This restaurant will be closing before the end of 2021, and it really showed last night. I do not want to blame the staff, they did a pretty good job in the circumstances, but not only is the menu greatly reduced, but several things we wanted to order that were on the menu were not available because sold out. There were very few tables at 8:00 PM when we were there. The food we were able to order was good, but the selections were so limited that I cannot call the menu selection or food outstanding, as I used to think it was under different owners. We were told that the chef here is now planning to go somewhere else. I do not know what the future of this restaurant will be. It’s a shame, because it used to be one of our favorite places. To add to the issues, there was a loud electrical noise like a short that ladted 5 minutes during dinner. And we were brought the totally wrong check to sign—this in a nearly empty restaurant. The staff let us order things that they then returned to say were unavailable. Cannot recommend. We were there with out of town family for a special Xmas dinner celebration, and were completely disappointed.
