My favorite Spanish restaurant in the DFW area! I visit at least once a month. It has a charming and cool atmosphere with quick service. The food is simply delicious—no other Spanish restaurants compare. We always order the paella valenciana (vegetable version) and the patatas bravas. Over the years, I've tried so many dishes, and they never get old. Everything is cooked to perfection, and their drinks and desserts a... View all feedback.
What Kristiaan Joseph dislikes about Si Tapas:
Pros: The happy hour is definitely worth it. It's a fantastic spot to unwind after work if you're looking for a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the white bean soup with clams.
Cons: Unfortunately, the service has deteriorated, and there seem to be discrepancies between the prices and the bill; they attribute this to "the system" of credit card fees. View all feedback.
As I sit here in this unassuming restaurant tonight, I can't help but feel grateful that we didn't let the initial negative reviews dissuade us from coming. This has turned out to be an absolutely delightful dining experience, easily one of the best meals we've had in a long time. The authenticity of the cuisine and the charming ambiance immediately transport you to Spain, creating a captivating atmosphere. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted by inviting aromas from the kitchen, heightening our anticipation for the culinary journey that awaited us. Without a doubt, tonight has been an evening to remember, and we're already looking forward to returning soon.
So great! The food was fairly affordable for the quality and the amount. The mix paella plate was $34 while the calamari was about $11 feeding my boyfriend and I (with leftovers) for $50 (before tip). It was worth every cent and I was driving to Dallas from six hours away for a day trip. If I'm ever back in the Dallas area will make another stop!!!!
The food was good, service was ok. The bread came without oil or butter. We had request for that. The portions are generous and their cocktails are great.Food: 4/5
