Was Debra at Degolyer a mag?
My daughter and I drove from San Antonio for a spring break trip to explore some attractions in Dallas. We had lunch at this lovely restaurant! We didn't have a reservation and had to wait an hour, which was perfectly fine. We used that time to continue our visit to the Dallas Arboretum. The atmosphere at the restaurant was fantastic, and our server and the staff were friendly and attentive! My daughter ordered the C... View all feedback.
What Faith dislikes about Degolyer:
The Degoyler is decent. The food is acceptable, but nothing to write home about. However, their drinks are impressive, particularly the tea. They only serve regular hot coffee, which might be a downside. If you're in search of a quick lunch, I recommend checking out the other restaurant near the entrance. View all feedback.

Update (3/25/22) same amazing staff and they now have gluten free bread! I wish they had more gluten free options though and I 'd skip the bliss chocolate cake because it was literally just a store bought gluten free brownie; it looked embarrassing next tomy partners dessert. Always have loved this place! I have been here several times, the staff are very friendly, the food is ofgreat quality, and the decor is lovely. However, it is weird how they have a Sunday Brunch only menu that is unavailable for therest of the week. This place is also only open for a small window of hours out of any given day, only for prime brunch intolunch time hours, but I do wish they would close at the same time as the rest of the garden. The items are also a tad pricey, and it 's irritating to think about having to pay for parking plus park entry fees (which can easily add up to $30) just to setfoot into this place.
My mom and I went to tea here this past week! We had a WONDERFUL experience! The food, tea selections, ambience and champagne were great! The service was a little slow, but it was a busy time of day, so perhaps that was the reason for that. Truly a greatexperience, we'll be back!
