We informed the staff prior to our visit and they were excellent. They seated us in a booth away from other customers and we felt more relaxed. Had a wonderful meal for my birthday Service was exceptional Quail starter was nice, deboned and a large portion.
We really enjoyed the quiet, comfortable and lovely surroundings. The tea was very enjoyable and staff friendly and very accommodating.

What a great surprise to find such a lovely place beside a beautiful river! Good food. We just happened to chance upon it after searching for good restaurants near Ballymena.

The sweet treats seemed store-bought and we ended up leaving most of them uneaten. The menu also lacked some of the previous items, such as miniature soup or trifle/cheesecake. The conservatory, which had initially impressed me with its beautiful floral arrangement and decor, now appeared a bit tired, including the furniture. Overall, I left feeling unsatisfied and still hungry. For £42.50 per person, I expected more.
