I appreciate the ambiance and the appealing decor, and I think the menu offers a unique sharing culinary experience. However, the food left much to be desired. The cheesy donuts were particularly disappointing—unless you enjoy overcooked donuts resembling soggy timbits topped with greasy bologna and served in a pool of mayonnaise, garnished with a few shavings of green apple for flair. What a fantastic experience on our first visit to Model Milk! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the service was excellent, thanks to Mitchell (Mitch?) and the rest of the attentive staff. We tried the calamari, shrimp, fried chicken, and apple cake, and I must say, everything was delicious. The only downside was our table at the bottom of the stairs; it felt less intimate with people passing by all night. However, I would definitely return, even if it meant sitting at the same table again!
We had an outstanding experience at Model Milk. Since moving to Calgary, I've been a regular here, and it continues to be one of my favorite spots in the city. The food, ambiance, and service are all exceptional.
We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. Our waitress was friendly and attentive to our two children, ages 4 and 6. We were initially concerned that the menu might not suit our boys, but they really enjoyed the potato bun, fried chicken, and Icelandic cod.
