I absolutely love the atmosphere and the people at this restaurant. The food is wonderful and brings back memories of having lunch at a family gathering. This was a whole episode. So we made a reservation for 11 people, 9 adults and 2 kids. We tried to make it for 6:30 but were asked to make it earlier for 5:45 cause they wanted to be out by 7…we agreed. Upon arrival we were told that it really wasn't a good time for a birthday party and they were reluctant to seat us. We sat anyway and ordered without a hiccup… so we thought. Excellent service and food had good selection and quality. Staff made you feel like a regular!!
My family has eaten here since I was a kid and I’ve never had a bad meal. It’s delicious and consistent and the people are always nice! Also, they have THE BEST onion rings in town.
Great time and what wonderful home style cooking. First green beans I have had out ever that did not have pork to flavor it. Wonderful service, food came promptly out of the kitchen and it was on fire hot. Just like I like my dinner not cold by the time you get it. Will be back soon.
