Overnight visit to the area, we booked the restaurant and they fit us in at short notice. Good table, very personable staff. They were very open about training up a new person I hope they keep him on as he was lovely. The staff...are all great and we were made to feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. Having tried many of the curry houses around Coventry and the Tile Hill area we'd never actually been to Rupee Lounge despite it being our closest restaurant. Having now been there we'll be sure to return. View all feedback.
Large eating served in good time, large cobra on tape also! the staff was very friendly. we will come back in the future.
In a lot of time, the shoe was in a small table horned for two with diners front and back, when the place was almost empty. decided not to start the popadoms and preferably a sharing plate. imagine. it turns around...on a sizzler the waiter simply shares it as he sees fit, it tilts on two plates each! a starter like this should be put on the table, so both can choose what they want, that it all is equally lubricated, regardless of, just a sluggish sauce over the meat onto the net. looks good, served on a dish, not in a pot. it was average. my court a huhn dupiaza (that is, double tweebel) came in some form of pot that the waiter used heavy contract type style items to indicate it was hot. it looked wrong. I raised the pot with my hands (no problem) and spooned it on my plate. small almost cube of huh in a thick orange sauce. I've never seen a mist. oh well ate it (if anything had been) three pints of cobra accompanied the meal between two together with a rice and a small garlic naan overall. I would have been better to have a takeaway from my local two dancing one or whatever. cost £48 of which approx. £15 was alcohol. it is a w small place, they have too many tables in the kitchen was not great tbh and I will not go back. far better place before location including well-known akbaars only one name. anyway. if they don't go. they don't know.
Beautiful evening with the most delicious aromas. recommended meal times were amazing and we were all well looked after. also needed for our birthday cake.
This is so handy , just up the rd and has a nice bar, serving ice cold Cobra, we took our Granddaughter for a meal, Chicken Tikka and Chicken Rogan Josh, was lovely, Ice Creams yummy. Nice Atmosphere and well priced.
I visited here this weekend and it was Excellent food and really friendly service, would defo recommend.
