Nestled in Coventry, Coffee #1 offers a delightful array of hot drinks and delectable pastries, including impressive vegan options. With ample indoor seating and a charming outdoor area, it's perfect for both casual and take-away visits. Diners rave about the divine hot chocolate made with coconut milk and an intriguing selection of cakes. While it may lack semi-skimmed milk and certain vegan spreads, Coffee #1 continues to impress patrons, making it a must-visit destination for coffee lovers.
I came over this place with an accident, but it was a pleasant surprise. they had different vegan sweets in offer, as well as sandwiches, totaling more than 5 options to choose from. there was a milk-free drink card, all drinks were with cocos milk. I couldn't resist the hot chocolate with cocose milk and it was divine! Since then, coffee 1 has become my favourite place for hot chocolate.
I love, love, love the dark chocolate triangle here as well as the cocos milk hot chocolate! They also make a berry crumb.
Has various sweet and hearty options. it is not completely included, as there are some strange things missing that the sweeter are not vegan. the welsh teacake is, but they don't have a vegan spread for it.
The cake was fantastic, the coffee was excellent, and the service was outstanding. I visited Coventry as a tourist and was extremely impressed. I wish we had a place like this in London!
I have visited this restaurant several times since it is near my office. The staff is fantastic and the coffee is top-notch. In my opinion, Coffee #1 outshines its competitors! The service is very polite and deserving of an A+ rating.
