We were taking a road trip and lunch time found us in the mountains in Gheorghieni area. Tripadvisor said Anda's restaurant is the best, so we stopped there. The location is very nice and quiet, on the outskirt of the forest, with a little river running by. Very pleasant to sit outside in the cool shade and listen to the water.The food itself was delicious and fresh, prices are very decent. Service was also very good... View all feedback.
What Haralamb Man dislikes about Anda:
The hotel and restaurant lie in a beautiful location by a small rushing river. The food was good and included venison and bear! The host showed us video he took last week of a mother bear and 3 cubs on the road outside. I wouldn't want to eat one. We had mixed meat kebabs which were excellent. For lunch I had goulash soup which was very tasty. This area of Transylvania is Hungarian and the staff do not speak Romanian... View all feedback.
It has a wonderful view and the food it is quite good, but it has little diversity. The serving was ok and the price ar medium.
The food is excellent, you must try potatoes soup. The service is good and the prices are normal. Nice view.
Az étterem nagyon szép helyen fekszik, a kinti része igazán hangulatos, kis patakkal, szép domboldallal. A leves finom volt, de a túrós csusza inkább sajtos tésztának tűnt. Merném ajánlani a helyet, de nagyon hiányzik egy kis profizmus, a hely szépségéhez mindenképpen illene.

On top of that, being able to pay by credit card was quite a surprise in the middle of the mountains.All in all, I totally recommend Anda's place.
