Just got back from a lovely evening at The Grove, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and professional. The restaurant is beautifully designed and the standards are very high. Will definitely visit again. Well done team.
My friends and I had a delightful dinner at this new restaurant. We appreciated the booth seating which made it easy to chat and admire each other's dishes. This restaurant is a training ground for aspiring chefs and the quality of the food is top-notch. It was enjoyable to engage with the front of house students who passed on our compliments to the kitchen staff. We had a fantastic experience and have already made reservations for our next visit.
We delighted to be able to be at the opening of The Grove Restaurant at the beginning of October 2023. The refurbishment is stunning. However, the welcome from Mark and the students is outstanding. The menu was diverse with the steak pie being one of the best I have tasted. As regular diners we wish Mark and his students every success for this academic year.
We visited the revamped restaurant last week as a group, we are regulars and always enjoy the delicious food and friendly ambience. Restaurant is very smart , service was excellent as always and food was delicious.We can’t wait to pay a return visit ! We’ll done everyone.
Had great value three course meal the star of which was the monkfish main.Service was excellent and price reasonable.Will definitely be back,only thing is the ratatouille with most meals is a bit out of place but minor complaint in my opinion best meal in the area
