I had an excellent vegan pasty, and the coffee was outstanding as well, with options for both soy and oat milk for those who prefer alternatives. Delicious pastries cakes. Reasonably priced, compared to others in the area given the setting. Extremely busy and a little disorganised in front of the counters as to where to queue/stand depending on what you require. Signage could be made clearer. Staff happy, chatty friendly. Oh my goodness!! Pasties are amazing, lovely selection of salads, superb bread. We never go anywhere else. Easy distance from Rock village and Polzeath.
Stopped off here to grab a pasty and a salad bowl. Lots of fresh pastries, bread and sandwiches. I had a medium salad bowl which was filled to the brim. Really good value for money. I can imagine this deli is very popular as the food looks wonderful. The staff are efficient and friendly. A few car parking spaces are directly outside.
I think we timed it wrong. There was one poor girl doing all the hot drinks and we had a very long wait. Breakfast panini was very quick but cooled down while waiting for drinks. Seemed a little disorganised but food was lovely but would have preferred to have it at the same time as my coffee.
I purchased a half granary baguette and a half white baguette. Both were too dense and dry. I'm not sure if I was given yesterday's bread (which is unacceptable for baguettes) or if this is just poor quality from the bakery.
I was very disappointed to discover that my sausage roll was actually a pink, rubbery tube masquerading as a sausage. It should not be difficult to use real sausages or higher quality sausage meat in a dish like this.
