They provide a wide variety of Asian dishes alongside the classic Chinese takeaway favorites, available for takeaway only. The menu clearly explains each dish and allows for customization. The food is fresh, made with high-quality ingredients, and the portions are generous at reasonable prices. What initially drew me in was the open kitchen where you can watch the chefs prepare your meal. The restaurant is clean, and the staff are friendly. They also offer a daily special at a discounted price, which is great value. I highly recommend Ginger Lilly; it has quickly become my favorite spot for Chinese takeaway in Cork.
We often order from Ginger Lilly because their food is full of flavor and served in hearty portions. Their extra-large noodle servings are excellent and pair wonderfully with every dish. Our top picks are the satay chicken and green curry. Just a small recommendation: it would be nice if the noodle portions were a bit larger, as 4 euros seems a bit steep. Additionally, offering vouchers or a loyalty program, like “buy 9 meals, get the 10th free,” would be a great addition. Thanks!
