Was Donnel P at Bubble World a mag?
Second time to be here for Siu Mai and Taro Oreo Slush with Pearls and it was very good. The place is not busy this time so we got our table immediately. The restaurant was very nice although the music is a bit loud. Took more than 20 minutes to wait for our food. Will definitely go back again View all feedback.
What Adegoke David dislikes about Bubble World:
Not sure how to accurately describe the "bubble" or pearl like ingredient that is optional in your choice of drinks. They have the texture of a gummy bear but a bit on the harder side and isn't sweet in its own. You add this to a variety of tea or smoothies. Kinda neat but I don't know why I would want to pay the price they are asking.Had to try it...it's not for me.They also serve food. It's a place where u can have... View all feedback.
The restaurant offers a wide selection of bubble teas and quick, affordable meals. I particularly enjoyed the hot milk tea and the savory peppery chicken nuggets. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual.

The extensive menu here always makes it hard to decide. I chose not to order my usual Stir Fry Lamb and try something different. The Milky Hot Pot with Mountain Yam and lamb was great. Tasty broth and lots of vegetables. Yes the pumpkin was hard to start but I put it back in the broth and gave it time to cook. There were lots of little surprises; fish balls, tofu, enoki mushrooms,. My partner had the Stir Fried Noddles with Seafood. A couple of shrimp, a mussel, some squid and white fish and she enjoyed it. We tried the Red Fermented Pork which we also liked I feel like I always need to try something deep fried at a Taiwanese place). The drinks of course are fun. I tried the Grass Jelly drink and had great fun sucking the jelly into the straw and letting it slurp back out. It was sweet and almost coffee like and I would have it again. My partner had a slush which she always enjoys. I have been to a few different Bubble Worlds. This one is fairly new and roomy and the service was friendly and attentive.
Deco 4. It is a very new place. Very cold while we were eating at the table near the window. <br/ <br/ Service The waitress always walks around to check on the customers. I think it's a fairly new place so they are still pretty good with the service. <br/ <br/ Food I ordered the Taro milky hot pot with lamb. Pumpkin and taro were still very hard in the soup. Wished the soup was cooked a bit longer. The rice was very hard. Tasted like left over rice. <br/ <br/ Price <br/ <br/ I will definitely go back again.
We ordered the beef noodles in soup and the kimchi hot pot. Both dishes were delicious, although there were only a few pieces of beef in the noodles. We would have been willing to pay more for a larger portion of beef. The kimchi hot pot was better than the beef noodles, with plenty of veggies, meat and fish balls, tofu, and a bowl of rice. However, it was missing the traditional small fire at the bottom of the pot. The portion sizes of the hot and cold drinks were generous. We ordered a bubble tea and asked for it to be split into two cups, which the server graciously did for us. The staff was very strict about not allowing drinks to be consumed inside the restaurant for take-out orders. Overall, we had an okay experience at this bubble tea spot. While there are not many Taiwanese restaurants in Coquitlam, this one stands out as a larger and better option. We would consider returning to try other dishes and drinks.
