Review: I recently dined in at this restaurant for lunch and was extremely impressed. The price per person was between $30 and $50, which I found to be reasonable for the quality of food and service. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5, as each dish was delicious and perfectly prepared. The service was also top-notch, with attentive staff and quick service. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, earning another 5 out of 5 rating. I highly recommend trying the tacos, menudo rojo, consome con carne de barbacoa, and birria - they were all outstanding. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience and will definitely be returning in the future.
The Onofre Restaurant serves a fantastic Sonora-style 'birria de chivo'. The meat is incredibly tender and the seasoning is perfect; I only needed to add a touch of lime. I ordered three tacos with the smaller tortillas and it was plenty of food; their portions are generous. The spanish rice also has a homemade taste and is prepared perfectly. The dining service was excellent.
