Read a lot of the reviews before coming. My husband and I said screw it, we 'll try it for ourselves Everything was wonderful. We were sat by the hostess immediately. Stephanie, our server, was amazing! She was helpful, attentive and very sweet. Our foodtasted great and it was neatly arranged on the plates. Overall experience was amazing! Love you, IHOP
I love Charm. She is a server that I always use and sit at her table when I go to IHOP to eat. I enjoy her company and her very cheerful and Sweet disposition. The food is always good I usually have a senior French toast with sausage. It's alwaysexcellent. I'm just glad you came to Commerce we needed a good restaurant
The place is always way too cold, with the air conditioning set far too high. Even though it’s a new restaurant, the building looks run-down, which gives the impression they’re not maintaining it properly. Tables shouldn’t be wobbly, and the trim edging coming off the floor is unacceptable. This was my second visit, and I’m honestly unsure if I’d recommend it. The food is pretty average compared to other breakfast spots. I had to send my cheese melt back because the cheese wasn’t even melted! They got it right the second time, but I waited far too long. I’d rate it okay, maybe more than two stars in the future, but right now they really need to improve their customer service and the care they put into serving food. With health concerns like COVID and monkeypox, there’s no reason staff should be touching my plate with unnaturally long fingernails or handling the rim of my glass where I drink, especially when you don’t know where their hands have been. Overall, between the wait time and the need to send food back, I wasn’t impressed. I might give it another shot and update my rating, but not anytime soon.
No silverware was provided when the food arrived—I had to ask for some. I ordered crispy bacon, but it came out super limp. When I mentioned I wanted it crispy, the waitress took it away in a napkin and brought it back, but when I asked if it was the same bacon, she said she didn’t know. It was disgusting. My eggs were burnt, and the pancakes tasted stale, like they were pre-made. There were only three cars in the parking lot and just three occupied tables, which was ridiculous. Overall, it was gross—go somewhere else. Don’t be fooled by the pictures; it looked good, but the food was terrible.
The food quality at IHOP was fairly average and nothing particularly impressive. However, the waitress was very accommodating to our group of eight, including four kids, even offering crayons for the adults to stay entertained. She also informed us upfront that only one cook was on shift but promised to bring out each meal promptly. The menu options were decent, but the prices felt quite high. With waters and two kids' meals, our family of four ended up spending nearly $50.
