Drinks are great, food is okay. Ecofriendl is also a plus. BUT it’s a No-Go how slow they are. We were the only two guests here in the cafe and it took them Minutes until we received our food (panini and omelette, so nothing really difficult). The drinks „only“ took minutes until we got them. The staff where two people and it seemed as if they were really working continuously on our little order. Sorry, guys, that doesn’t work. Imagine your cafe is full. People are waiting hours then?
Probably the best late I’ve had and the view is amazing too! For travelers like me the wifi and outlets are a game changer!
Had the loveliest experience at Monkeybean Café by the sea in Colombo! We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here, and from start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make it special. The warm smiles, thoughtful service, and kind gestures truly made us feel welcome. The view of the ocean was the perfect backdrop, and the relaxed, cozy atmosphere made it even more memorable. The food and drinks were fresh and delicious, with something for everyone to enjoy. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team for making our day so special — we’ll definitely be back! A good cafe along the Marine drive road, enjoyed the ambience with overlooking moving train and ocean . Delicious fries, chicken pops and carrot cake. Cake was my favourite.
