This is a very nice, welcoming and relaxed local restaurant run by people who care about the food they serve. They specialise in beef and red wine, and if you like these, this is well worth checking out. The beef is excellent. I went with business colleagues but I'm not a beef enthusiast and so I felt the menu was a little restricted.
This is really what they call a hidden gem. The location is not particularly interesting as Cologno Monzese is quite an anonymous Milan suburb, and the restaurant is in a small secondary road. Nevertheless this place can suprise you. They serve delicious but very cheap daily menus with always new proposals from Italian cuisine. Everything is worth and you will be not disappointed. But if you can spend a little more you can have the better meat ever tasted (chateubriand filet). And a virtually infinite list of high quality wines, for any pocket.
Fast and weekly lunch around 14:00. very kind and friendly staff, good food, fast service and low price.
