I hadn’t visited in a few years, and since new owners took over, the Chilmark General Store has been renovated. It’s shifted from a traditional general store to more of an upscale market, offering a wide range of enticing toys, home goods, and food products. They understand their unique position in the area, which is reflected in the prices. However, the staff are excellent, and the atmosphere is fantastic.
We love this charming market. It’s delightful, and the food is truly amazing. I definitely recommend trying the blueberry or peach pie!
