Nestled near Midway airport, this small-town diner has garnered a mix of experiences among its patrons. While some diners rave about generous portions, fresh flavors, and friendly service, others have confronted cleanliness issues and rude staff. Guests frequently praise hearty dishes like the country fried steak, skillets, and fluffy pancakes, often leaving satisfied and full. However, reports of disorganized management and unsanitary conditions raise concerns. Despite its flaws, many believe the savory breakfast options and welcoming atmosphere make it worth a visit—just tread carefully through the reviews before deciding on a meal experience.

Me and my family went to eat there and the food is really good. Good customer service and the food arrived at a good time. We didn't had to wait for a long time for our food. Also the plates are big so you get your money worth. View all feedback.

Wanted a corn beef hash skillet with egg over medium. Ended up with a potato hash w/a sprinkle of corn beef and a hard fried egg.. plenty of cheese to disguise the dish… View all feedback.
I ordered a steak that was cooked to my liking, but the soda I had was unusually thick and had some unknown pieces floating in it.
Having not eaten all day, which isn’t unusual for me, I ordered a coffee. For my meal, I chose a beef hash, a light beer, a side of pancakes, and some crushed potatoes. Everything was perfect—the flavors were incredible, especially when I added a bit of Tabasco sauce, salt, and pepper. Each bite felt like heaven. The food was hot, fresh, and it made me question why I had ever eaten at other diners nearby. The pancakes were fluffy and golden—nothing short of delicious. My friend didn’t touch the pickle that came with his burger, so I happily devoured that. My coffee was refilled at just the right intervals, about three times, which added to the experience. I felt ecstasy with each bite, an experience not everyone gets to enjoy. I’m a petite person, standing around 5 feet 6 inches tall, and despite my appetite, I’m quite slim. I didn’t want to admit it, but I felt completely satisfied after the meal. When I got home, I took a quick detour to the bathroom and then booted up my laptop to play Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. What followed was an epic gaming session fueled by that delicious meal. I managed to defeat the Demon of Hatred without using any cheat moves and wrapped up all the missed mini-bosses in the endgame areas. Eventually, I tackled Sword Saint Ishin multiple times until I finally finished the game. The meal from eight hours prior was nothing short of incredible. It was the only thing I had eaten that day, and I went to bed without the slightest hint of hunger. I felt utterly satisfied with my experience. Thanks to Top View!
Eating was great when we arrived, it was very busy, but was very quickly wrapped around. the staff was great. would go again. keep the good workers up.
The food was for takeout, and when we got to our destination, it was just as good as it would have been at the restaurant. Thank you to the cooks and staff who prepared our meal. We really appreciate all of you. Happy New Year!
