Sofi's is a charming Italian restaurant in Printer's Row with incredible food and excellent service. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure every guest feels welcomed and celebrated. The menu offers a variety of authentic Italian dishes, from refreshing bruschetta to delicious pasta and seafood options. The outdoor seating area adds to the ambiance, perfect for enjoying warmer nights. While there may have been a few hiccups with service, the fantastic food and inviting atmosphere make Sofi's a must-visit for anyone looking for a true taste of Italy.
This place is amazing! The staff are super friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, We got a refreshing bruschetta as appetizer and I had a Carbonara as main course, everything very tasty! I highly recommend it
This restaurant is a fantastic choice for Italian cuisine, striking a great balance between upscale and casual. I had a fantastic meal of braised mussels and mushroom pasta. The staff were very friendly and attentive as well!
This was my first time dining here, and it definitely won't be my last. The food was incredibly delicious. For starters, we ordered the potatoes with white sauce, followed by the black truffle angel hair pasta and pesto gnocchi. The service was excellent, and the staff was kind enough to help us celebrate my sister's birthday. The outdoor seating area is also very charming.
The Valentines Day service was awful. Took forever to order our drinks (waiter didn’t even ask if he wanted drinks) with no check-ins after. The food was serviceable but not comparable to Italian spots in Chicago of a similar price point. The atmosphere was poor given the ceiling with a huge brown water stain on it and the fact that we were seated by a door where you can see into their storage area. I’m sure they have some very talented chefs working there that are mad they’re getting screwed by the fact that the front of house has already made the customer feel annoyed and ignored before the first bite. Classy, quality Italian spot. Amazing house-made limoncello, delicious twists on classic offerings, and amazing service. Everyone we’ve taken to this spot since we first stumbled across it has had rave reviews. Will be back again and again. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $60–70
