Was shebazzle at Rooh a mag?
The cocktails at the restaurant were fantastic. The vegan dishes were all delicious and seemed to have a sophisticated touch. The eggplant dish was the best I've ever had. View all feedback.
What Walton O'Hara dislikes about Rooh:
Sorry to say but no grilled food on the menu. Butter chicken was mixed with potatoes. Ambience was old . They should change seats to some elegant sitting. Being from India it seemed like having dinner at some third class restaurant in the village . Service was good .Food was terrible View all feedback.
We were fortunate to be seated at a cozy booth on the outdoor terrace upstairs. The atmosphere was fantastic and the staff was very welcoming. We loved the drinks, and our top food choices were the jackfruit cutlets and the sweet potato chaat.
Delicious cocktails, delicious food. The restaurant is so chic. Loved the vegan menu. Everything was just phenomenal. I had the jackfruit cutlet, cauliflower, chickpea curry, roti, and mango sorbet. All outstanding. The cocktails are also amazing and so creative. A must visit in Chicago!!
The staff at this restaurant is very accommodating and knowledgeable. We sampled almost every vegan dish on the menu, with our favorites being the sweet potato chaat, chickpea curry, and cauliflower.
My family and I went to Rooh for dinner last night and it was absolutely exceptional. I savored literally every bite. Our entire table ordered the 4 Course Chef’s Tasting Menu, so I was able to try a wide array of Rooh’s offerings. My favorite dishesthat I ate were the Grilled Prawn Small Plate and the Sea Bass (with basmati rice or saffron rice). The sauce on the grilledprawns was particularly outstanding for its incredible flavor, a touch spicy with fantastic Indian spices. Excellent all around:service, food, atmosphere, and meal pacing– I highly recommend!
This is a might try Indian fusion restaurant. From the atmosphere to the service and food, it is amazing. People are nice and friendly and explain the food so well. One of the best sea bass I have ever had and the best butter chicken I have ever tried inUSA or India. If you like Indian food go here. Lastly get the cheesecake, it is not your typical cheesecake, it will send yourmind and tummy into nirvana.
