LÝRA Chicago is a charming restaurant that stands up to Bagatelle, featuring an excellent selection of bread and a variety of dishes, including delicious scallops and tender octopus. The short rib pasta is a must-try and ranks among the top three dishes, while the lobster linguini doesn’t quite hit the mark. The food was delicious and there was a good atmosphere. The problem was that I had a reservation and they made me wait 1 hour. They passed everyone and they ignored me, I felt discriminated against. View all feedback.
Unfortunately, after waiting for a table for 2 hours, I was not able to experience the cuisine of this fine restaurant! We waited patiently at the bar and was never called! We ended up tasting the delicious tacos from our culture ?? El Solazo ??
I recently dined at Lyra while I was visiting Chicago and was blown away by the exceptional service provided by Denise. Her warmth, knowledge, and attentiveness made the experience unforgettable. Combined with the delicious Greek cuisine, it's a dining spot I highly recommend.
Had a reservation for Lýra and had to wait at the bar for 15 minutes for the table to be ready. After waiting for 20 minutes at the table, we didn’t have a waiter, so we had to get up and talk to the host to request for one. After this, we finally had a waiter even though our table was in the path of multiple waiters. We got our food, which was really good, and a few drinks. We ordered a second round of drinks after the appetizers and we didn’t get them until we were done with our entrées! It’s sad that the food is good, because for the service alone I’d think twice before going again.
I went here for my Birthday. Food came out hot and fresh. My favorite dish is the Gyro.Only gripe: Every time a dish was brought to our table. I hated how the waiter had to do something to my dish. Cut it for me or put the spoon in a certain way. It got monotonous after the first 2 dishes.
