Greenriver consistently impresses me and truly deserves its Michelin star. We began our evening at the bar with a delicious Leather Jacket cocktail, and because it looked so appealing, we decided to go for the tasting menu. I appreciate that we weren't required to choose the tasting menu, as that choice is always a plus. The trout crudo, sturgeon, duck, foie gras (supplement), and wagyu (supplement) were all outstand... We had a great experience. The service, food and ambience were fantastic. This place is true gem! Too bad we couldn't enjoy it more before its closing. We're sad to see it go. Chicago looses another great one. Thank you Atsuko and Team! Well done!!!
Wow! What a gem to have atop the Northwestern building. Chef Aaron was spot on with all of his dishes on the beautiful tasting menu we enjoyed. Every cocktail was incredibly unique, too! We are going to miss Green River. I can’t wait to see what this Michelin chefs next adventure is.
I just found out they’re closing and I am terribly upset! GreenRiver has given me some of the best nights of my life. The first time I had dinner there, it was with my best friend who moved to Toronto a few years ago. I loved it so much I went back to celebrate my sister’s birthday and just celebrated mine there as well. Thank you so much for always being so welcoming. I will truly miss sipping on a silver tongue while eating your delicious food. I wish you didn’t have to close.

We visited Annex to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and we had a fantastic experience. The server was friendly and knowledgeable, and we tried all of his recommendations—our drinks were excellent! We will definitely be returning!
