Feedback
Celeste is a Chicago bar that has received mixed reviews from patrons. Some have complained about the slow service, limited food options, and the inconvenience of a strict dress code, while others have praised the strong cocktails and pleasant ambiance. Despite the varied experiences, some guests have enjoyed the unique Art Deco aesthetic and delicious food offerings. Overall, opinions on Celeste seem to be divided, with some customers vowing never to return, while others are looking forward to revisiting the establishment.
Who knew this beautiful space was here! We came as part of a frose crawl and found a near-empty and unbelievably beautiful space.
We went to Celeste for my friend's 30th birthday dinnerThis was probably one of the worst dining experiences that I have had in a while.
Ugh I never go out in River North and for good reason I came here for a friend's 30th birthday last month and it was a mess.
Interesting vibe. They do have a dress code, and I overheard them say no athletic wear and no sweatpants. They let me in, I’m black, and they definitely had all sorts of folks in there. The floors are long and narrow, definitely want to be on the thinner side if you want to traverse all the stairs as well. There is a coat check, $5 per item. Cover seemed variable, people were arguing their way out of it, but we paid $20 each. Drinks were a little more expensive than even a luxury experience $18 a shot). The second floor is a seated lounge with a kitchen if you need a breather, the other three are different music scenes. Depends what you’re looking for. Fun and does the late night trick. Music was… …. Yeah it played. Some DJs ready to go home. Top floor was also said to have ‘reached capacity’ and barred people from entering but you could also argue with them to go up if you wanted. Overall, an interesting 4 AM experience.
