Feedback
Cebu has quickly captured the taste buds of food enthusiasts with its delightful array of Filipino dishes and attentive service. The restaurant shines during brunch, offering unique breakfast options, although prices can be steep, such as $7 for coffee. Diners rave about standout dishes like lumpia, pork belly, and the must-try Ube chicken and waffle sandwich. However, opinions vary; some find flavors lacking, especially in the celebrated lechon. Overall, the inviting service and dedication to quality create a memorable dining experience, making it an excellent choice for group gatherings or special occasions, despite occasional service delays.
Personally, I was disappointed. However the other diners I was with thought it was good. I don’t know enough about Filipino cooking to know whether the cooking is just not to my taste, or whether Cebu is not that great at Filipino cooking in the first place, but the food was bland, uninspired and frankly uninteresting. The service was excellent and attentive, but I think you’re better off spending $80-$100 per person elsewhere.
DELICIOUS. Named after a city in the Philippines, Cebu serves up really tasty Filipino food! The servers were wonderful and attentive, and the food was amazing! I definitely recommend going in a group and sharing family style so you can try as many dishes as possible. Also, make sure to make a reservation! The 7 of us shared the following (and we left feeling full): Tuna kinilaw (Filipino ceviche) Inihaw na Liempo (Grilled Pork Belly) Gambas (shrimp) Calamari lumpia (2 orders) Wagyu Sisig Grilled Octopus 2 Pitchers of Ube Painkiller All of the food was delicious! My top 3 were the grilled pork belly, gambas, and lumpia. We ordered extra coconut rice on the side which helped soak up all the sauces and was a delicious flavor on its own. Definitely get the Ube Painkiller if you're in the mood for drinks. It tastes so good and you don't taste the alcohol so beware! They automatically added a 20% gratuity for our party of 7, just a heads up! Overall was a reasonable price for such great quality food, drink, and space. Definitely recommend!
I was there last Saturday, had lunch with a buddy. The food was decent, but one appetizer was extraordinary, the spring rolls. But a little pricy, great service. Recommend you try it once.
The food was excellent and I will definitely be back. The only downside was the noise level, as the space was a bit loud. It would greatly benefit from some noise-cancelling installation.
The food and service at this restaurant are fantastic. It's a perfect spot for a Sunday brunch with unique breakfast options. However, it is on the pricey side. Paying $7.00 for a cup of coffee is quite steep. Our breakfast for 3 people ended up costing $132.00. Overall, the food and service were superb, but it's definitely on the expensive side.
