What Шана Милачков dislikes about Cafe 53:
The falafels were old and mushy so was the pita bread. Fattoush salad had cheap ingredients. I would not be surprised if the vegan falafel sandwich had a sort of dairy ranch View all feedback.
You must try her sandwich on the delicious Dutch crunch bread. I often go for the vegan meatball, which is amazing, but I'm really looking to get her vegan Cajun chicken sandwich on that Dutch crunch. It's out of this world! So good!
We tried a few places that were closed due to the holiday and stopped here. I was worried based on the reviews and the the menu did not knock my socks off, but I was pleasantly surprised. I would not go out of my way to eat here, but it had many vegan sandwiches, lots of teas and coffees, a great chip selection, and some vegan desserts. The food was good and filling. I had the meatball sub. My brother tried a dessert. We’d go back if needing a quick bite.

This is a fantastic local spot with flavorful, saucy sandwiches! The prices are reasonable, and there's a great variety of options to choose from. I particularly loved the sumac chicken—it was amazing. When I was about to leave a tip, the waiter simply said, “If you liked it, come back.” That made me want to tip even more than the usual amount because it felt genuine and inviting.
