Feedback
Bloom restaurant captivates diners with its creative and distinct plant-based offerings, highlighted by flavorful dishes like cactus schnitzel, BBQ cauliflower, and the exceptional Baja taco. While many praise the vibrant decor and attentive service, some have noted inconsistencies—especially concerning portion sizes and the menu's execution, which occasionally lacks clarity and finesse. Prices can be steep, often leaving guests wanting more. Nevertheless, the combination of imaginative cuisine and unique beverage options ensures a memorable dining experience worthy of exploration, especially for those celebrating special occasions or seeking innovative plant-based dishes.
What an amazing dining experience! This restaurant was the highlight of our road trip. The red carrot dumplings, yuca gnocchi, lion's mane mushrooms, shroom chorizo flatbread, and sundried tomato sashimi were all delicious for our main course. And the camote cheesecake and coffee break were outstanding for dessert. We will definitely be returning to Chicago to dine here again!
I love coming to this restaurant to celebrate special occasions. The food is always delicious, creative, and exciting. The service is also great. We ordered 3 small dishes and 2 larger dishes to share between 2 people, and it was more than enough to make us feel very full. The prices are a bit on the higher side, with smaller plates ranging from $10-20 each and larger plates from $20-30 each. Including tax and tip, we spent about $130. However, we felt that the cost was justified by the quality of the dishes, service, and overall deliciousness of everything.
The serving sizes were notably small, adding to the belief that vegan food isn't satisfying. The fried dish and the kale Caesar salad were quite tasty.
We’ve been a few times and LOVE everything we order. Yesterday we went on 2 Tuesday and chose the three course prefix which still gives you the option to choose. It’s the best value!!!
