Was Bernadette M at Bambu a mag?
I was visiting one of my besties who lives in Chicago and she said I have to go here bc they have the best pandan and ube. I love both so no need to ask me twice! I got the Ube Lover which has ube and pandan jellies in it. Eeerrmagherd so good and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. None of that powder shiiet. Honestly, they skimped on my cup of milk tea—there was nearly an inch of space left at the top. They didn't fill it up all the way. I wouldn't recommend this place. Uni Uni is definitely better. View all feedback.
I ordered a large size, but the lady gave me a small. When I asked her to change it to a large, it seems she just added more water instead. In the past, the toppings for a large portion used to be much more generous, which is disappointing. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.

Nice shop. They seem to have more customizable tea options, relative to the other boba places in the area. Was very fast.
They really need to open a location in the suburbs! I would easily make a two-hour round trip just for their smashed avocado—it's that good, and I always end up getting two servings! It's like an addictive treat; there must be something special in there besides just avocado. Finding authentic Vietnamese drinks can be quite a challenge, but theirs are fantastic. I also really enjoy their mangolade. Overall, I give the food a perfect 5/5!
