Clam Digger
Description
In St. Andrew's, a restaurant has received a mix of reviews. While some found the food and service to be lacking, describing the shells as not fresh and hard pommes, others raved about the excellent service and delicious lobster platters. The grounds were noted to be clean and well-kept, with picnic tables and a play area for children. Despite some issues with the service and food, the outdoor picnic-style dining was enjoyed by many. Overall, it seems the restaurant is a popular spot for fresh seafood and family-friendly dining, especially if you're in the St. Andrew's area.

Excellent service and food. Lobster platters are so fresh and delicious... Just love visiting this take out. Always go there whenever we're in St. Andrew's. There are lots of picnic tables there to sit at, plus there is a play area for children. They also serve ice cream too. Very clean grounds. Well kept. What Krystyna Hinz dislikes about Clam Digger:
Eating wasn't good. I did not feel that the shells were fresh and strongly baked and boiled. At least I have to eat outside in the warm sun. Also the place is a death trap where everyone simply takes off on the shoulders of the highway Service: Take Meal Type: Lunch Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.
My wife and I recently enjoyed the Seafood platterIt was fresh, large enough for two, and appropriately priced.
Well if you ever find yourself crossing the border around lunch or dinner -- then do your best to find this place.
Loved the lobster roll The Clams were very freshActually, all the seafood was fresh.
The best fish and chips around. We make a point to go every year because nothing compares. It's worth it to go, even if it's out of the way. Always impressed with the large amount of food. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good seafood meal!
