In St. Andrew's, a restaurant has received a mix of reviews. While some found the food and service to be lacking, describing the shells as not fresh and hard pommes, others raved about the excellent service and delicious lobster platters. The grounds were noted to be clean and well-kept, with picnic tables and a play area for children. Despite some issues with the service and food, the outdoor picnic-style dining was enjoyed by many. Overall, it seems the restaurant is a popular spot for fresh seafood and family-friendly dining, especially if you're in the St. Andrew's area.

The fish and chipboard was really good and cheap. The portions are definitely sufficient (hope you like fries), and the dough was thick but not overdue. Another thing I liked was the price you see on the menu is the price you pay... the tax and everything is included with it; if you see it for $11, then what it is. Also the beach is on the street a little way from the restaurant if you want a picturesque place to eat... View all feedback.
What Krystyna Hinz dislikes about Clam Digger:
Eating wasn't good. I did not feel that the shells were fresh and strongly baked and boiled. At least I have to eat outside in the warm sun. Also the place is a death trap where everyone simply takes off on the shoulders of the highway Service: Take Meal Type: Lunch Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.
My wife and I recently enjoyed the Seafood platterIt was fresh, large enough for two, and appropriately priced.
Well if you ever find yourself crossing the border around lunch or dinner -- then do your best to find this place.
Loved the lobster roll The Clams were very freshActually, all the seafood was fresh.
The best fish and chips around. We make a point to go every year because nothing compares. It's worth it to go, even if it's out of the way. Always impressed with the large amount of food. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good seafood meal!
Food was great, huge portions and delicious! There was even a piece of bacon for our Boston Terrier! This place was great!!!
