Was Wian V at Fishaways a mag?
The manager called me to apologize, which is quite rare in South Africa. I appreciate the gesture, but unfortunately, their service is terrible. I ordered online and received my order 2.5 hours later, cold. The 'medium' hake I received was so tiny that I wouldn't even classify it as small; it was practically microscopic. Do yourself a favor and choose to eat somewhere else. View all feedback.
The food is consistently excellent, and I’ve never had any issues here! The staff is really friendly too.
I recently tried the Family Trio meal, which includes six small fish fillets along with chips and rice. It's definitely the best value for money at Fishaways. The fish is always fresh. Just a tip: make sure to double-check your order against what you receive, as I've been disappointed in the past.

Bought a special of grilled hake, chips, spicy rice and coleslaw. Excellent value and very tasy. Call and collect also excellent.
Good service and convenient location. Fish is good though salad and chips can do with some improvement. Drinks especially the cocktails are fantastic ......but horribly expensive!
