This is an all-time favorite of ours. Even though we live 40 minutes away, we occasionally make the trip to Centralia just to enjoy a meal here.
I had a wonderful time at the cafe once again! As someone from Sydney, Australia, this was my third visit over the years. The cod was fantastic, and it came on an enormous plate!
The food there is incredible. The sandwiches are so large that you can't fit them in your mouth, and they also make their own pies, which are the best I've ever tasted. Plus, the staff is always...
The food was rather lackluster. My home fries contained several undercooked potatoes. On a positive note, the waitstaff and the atmosphere were lovely. However, the ceiling fans were coated in a thick layer of dust as they circulated through the air. The raspberry freezer jam was definitely a highlight of our meal! We ordered the biscuits and gravy and the chicken-fried steak.
Drove an hour North to get here based on a recommendation by a family member. Our table got the Chehalis Club, Alfredo, Pineapple bacon Cheeseburger with chili cheese tots, and the SW chicken sandwich. To top it off, we got the brownie square a slice of the apple pie. And let me tell ya, it was well worth every minute of that drive!
