I came to this restaurant with high expectations, as I always think it's worth giving places a second chance. Unfortunately, my experience fell short. The chicken fettuccine alfredo I ordered was lacking in flavor. The sauce was mostly thin and watery, and the chicken was dry, as if it had been sitting around for a week. I took my extended family of six to this restaurant on the 4th of July after a long, tiring day in the mountains. We were wet, sweaty, and exhausted, but the staff treated us with kindness and made us feel just as welcome as their well-dressed, perfumed customers. The food was delightful and delicious, and considering the quality and portion sizes, it was reasonably priced. I even had a lovely box for lunch the next day! Our waitress was sweet and beautiful, making us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Although the space is smaller, I found it cozy and warm, allowing our server to provide attentive service without feeling rushed. Additionally, with fewer diners, I assume the kitchen can focus on crafting each dish to perfection, ensuring every plate is equally delicious. My kids are already excitedly planning our next visit!
I recently stopped by Z'Abbracci for a quick meal and chose to sit at the bar. The staff told me about their Happy Hour deals, so I ordered the Fried Risotto appetizer. It arrived promptly, hot, and tasted fantastic. The other patrons at the bar were friendly, leading to some enjoyable conversations. I’m definitely coming back to try their pizza. First of all, our server Kaleb was amazing—friendly, attentive, and professional. The food was excellent as well. Our appetizer was both visually appealing and delicious, and the calzones were large and made with fresh ingredients. We ended our meal with a skillet cookie that was just perfect. Thought we found a new go-to place with a great happy hour, but the service is abysmal. Arrived ~4pm 5/4 and sat outside, our 3rd visit in 2 weeks. After 20 minutes of not talking to anyone except the hostess that sat us I went inside to ask if we should order inside. She said “no, sorry, someone will be right out.” 5 minutes later a server did come out, but went to the other table that had just sat down without even looking at us. We turned our menus in to the hostess and went elsewhere. She said “sorry, we’re short staffed”.
