Nice and casual, beachwear is appropriate. perfectly located on Tamariz Beach right along the beach walk. Perfect for a bite before, during, or after a beach day and it has a great bar menu too. Decent attentive service View all feedback.

Had paella. No where was told that they don't make the paella themselves. Just heat it. It was small and expensive for what you get. Menu said shrimps, well there was one. Menu said wings, well there was one.. Waiter was nice and compassionate. Owner or who ever did't take feedback very well. Just don't do it. View all feedback.

Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere unless you are wrecked from a day on the beach and don 't feel like walking! The staff are personable enough but the service is truly dreadful. The only really redeeming aspect of this place is the location, it is located right on the beach at Estoril super convenient. We arrived around 5:45pm and asked for a table, we could see that there was one free they left us waiting for 15 minutes before seating us at said table. About 6:15pm we were able to order. We had just finished a long day at the beach and we were hungry and very thirsty! We asked for wine and water and also for bread and ham to brought to the table while the dishes cooked. Note: At this stage the place wasn 't too busy. We finally got water and wine at 6:35pm, I asked again for the bread and ham as I didn 't want everything to come out at the same time and I was told just a few minutes Finally at 6:55, everything came out at once I asked if the arroz de marisco and other dishes we had ordered could be kept warm while we ate some of the bread/ham etc We were told no. I have to say that the ham was exceptional I had been eating different versions all holiday and this was the best one. However the rest of the food was mediocre, not bad but not particularly good. I asked for more bread and that took about 15 minutes with a reminder We got through it all and were told at 7:15pm that the kitchen was closed and there was no option for dessert. (Would have been good to know that they were closing early before wasting so much time.... At this stage we were all fed up and just wanted to leave We had seen the waiting staff chatting and wandering about while we tried to get their attention and were ignored the whole experience was unpleasant This is the first time that I have not left a tip in any restaurant. I would not recommend.

Bar absurdo Estoril is a great place ! The only problem is the service : the only guy’s working is Angelo on the all beach. (It’s not normal!!! Fire the others they are useless. Angelo is professional and sympatic ! He speaks Portuguese, English and french !!!
Whilst walking along the beach we decided to go here, not sure why as there are so many beachfront restaurants, how glad we were. On our first visit we played it safe, one had toasties and chips, one carbonara and one spag bol, all the meals were well cooked and hot (a rarity we found) , we looked at all the lovely fish dishes that seemed to be being served. We decided to come back again for some fish. We weren't disappointed, the salmon was divine, the best I have had. We would definitely make an effort to return.
