It's one old fort which is renovated well. Where it's surrounded by beach on the other end. The fort is one epic monument. You can enjoy the landscapes. A very good place for beautiful photos and backdrops. Children will enjoy a lot running round and round. There are a number of eateries outside the place. This fort is very nice and one can visit this along with the light house which ia near by. There is entry fees to enter the place and one can explore the place by walking everywhere. There are different spots to view different views and one can spend their time watching them and clicking pictures. It is a huge fort with lots of apace in the middle.A historical monument. Neatly maintained. The place is in a small hill and can be visited only through vehicle. The place has an entry fees of Rs.25 per head. The view at this place makes this a must visit place in Goa. There is a jail and a lighthouse nearby. The place is a beautiful place to visit sunset.
Place of tourist interest, must visit place if you are having Goa tour, it's beach side fort. Beauty of of beach so much soothing from here. Overall it's nice place to visit. Protected by archaeological survey of India. Entry fee Rs 25 per adult. Children free.

The fort is an immense knowledge book. But as any historical place it needs time and a good guide. If you are running short of time, you may not like the fort and it's surroundings. The surrounding area needs 3 6 hours to explore depending on your fitness level. The fort takes about an hour to roam at peace . The water cooler was not working during my time. Their are plenty of food stalls outside to take care for your food, water and juices. You will need to walk and in the sun it can be really hot. The fort is divided in various sectors. The vehicle reaches only the top part. For the other sector one needs to trek around. Best time to trek is early in the morning just before sunrise. Best time to visit the lighthouse which is next to fort is evening. Also, consider the parking for two wheeler’s is 50/ .
Fort was good and not much crowded this time. Construction work for betterment is happening so hopefully it will be good place to visit down the line. Few scenic points where you can capture really nice pictures. Old fort with his history is described in few places. Kids also enjoyed walking around the fort. Its not too big or too small to spend couple of hours. Food stalls are just out side the fort entrance which helps to stay hydrated.
