Gino’s is a great family style Italian restaurant in Canajoharie. The owner Marcia is a sweetheart who runs the restaurant with her family. We each ordered chicken cutlet parmigiana and the portions were huge. The entree came with a house salad, bread for the table, and your choice of pasta. I recently ordered takeout for dinner and was hoping for a satisfying meal, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The food received a rating of 2 out of 5. It lacked the flavor and freshness I was looking for. The service was decent, earning a 3 out of 5, but nothing stood out. As for the atmosphere, it was unimpressive, receiving a rating of 2 out of 5. If you decide to try this place, I would suggest sticking with the pepperoni pizza, as that was the highlight of my order.
