Amici is a cozy restaurant with a sports bar vibe, best suited for small groups. The wood-fired stone oven produces excellent pizza, making it one of the top Italian spots in Cambridge, Ontario. While accommodating large groups may be a challenge, the friendly staff and delicious dishes make for a pleasant dining experience. The grilled Caesar salad is a standout option. The homemade pasta and thin-crust pizza are highly recommended, as well as the seafood platter. The Tiramisu is a must-try dessert. The seafood medley pasta was absolutely delicious! It was light yet bursting with flavor, made with fresh ingredients that tasted incredibly authentic. While the portions could be larger for the price, even the garlic bread was among the best I've ever had with pasta. This place is definitely worth a visit! View all feedback.
What Bianca Hutchings dislikes about Amici:
Love the food, always have. The service is terrible. The way the staff speaks to patrons is absolutely despicable. I called and simply asked if I would need a reservation and the response was, while laughing not happening tonight as if I was an idiot for asking.. this has happened multiple times. I LOVE the food so it really disappoints me to say I 'll never attempt to eat here again. I really wish the staff would tr... View all feedback.
Tried out this "hidden gem" as shared by a previous post, with my husband. The thin crust pizza is the best, even better than "back home"! The pasta dishes were absolutely delicious and thoroughly enjoyed! We had no issues with the service which was friendly...More
Pizza is hands down the best! The pasta is authentic and incredible! Informal dining, feels like you're one of the family!
This is a serious place for artisanal pizza but you'd never know it. First of all it's in an out of the way strip mall, secondly its humble exterior and simple interior are a bit deceiving. It has an open hearth brick oven, authentic crust and fresh ingredients. The pizzas are masterpieces. Well worth checking out
Wow, homemade pasta was very good. Arribbiatta extra spicy was perfect. Service at the bar was pleasant, entertaining and informative. We will be back when in town for sure. Definitely a hidden gem.
An exceptionally clean restaurant with pleasant picnic pattern tablecloths, Amici is tucked inside a quiet plaza blocks away from the busy Cambridge street (which looks like any suburban strip mall in middle-America (i.e., mall-gas station-billboard-mall . We ordered a pizza Caprese as it was a hot summer day, and had bread with olive oil. Handmade Neapolitan pizza made from fresh dough, and fresh, hand sliced ingredients (cheese, basil, tomato , it was exactly what we needed for a light lunch. They have a bar with 2 tvs, but they also have cappuccino on the menu. Not much of a patio since all you'd stare at is the parking lot, however, they do have frequent regulars who walk in for a cold beer and sit to enjoy each other's company. If we're in the area again, we'd definitely come back and try their dinner menu.
