Was martin weber at Linn's a mag?
Upon entering this restaurant, I was immediately captivated by the ambiance. In addition to having its own bakery, the restaurant offers a fine dining experience with one of the best beef dishes I have ever tasted. I must admit, I am not usually a fan of beef or steak, but the 16 Oz. ribeye ranch steak completely changed my mind. My experience at this restaurant/Bakery was horrible the service at this place is not very good at all the employees need to be checked or even Fired I have never felt so discriminated ever in my life cause I was Mexican they felt the need to treat me like crap and When it came to ordering some pastries they felt the need to but all the nice desert in a To Go Box but the person that was next to me got the best treatm... This is a favorite for breakfast (or just pie) when we are in Cambria, Morro Bay or Paso Robles. Love the veggie omelette, biscuits and gravy (not gf), and gf muffins (for me) for breakfast. Good cinnamon roll (for her), too. Love the Oalliberry pie. Always nice staff. The counter-service satellite restaurant next door has good pie and a nice patio. We have been going to Linn’s for dozens of years.
On a road trip staying g in Cambria for 2 nights. Had food at this place the young fellow that served us was very good. The food was good tasty. There are not many choices in the town, so I would recommend eating here.
We called at 2pm to make a reservation and were told that we couldn't unless we had a party of at least 5 people. They mentioned that they weren't busy at this time of year. We ended up waiting 35 minutes for a table, and found the food to be too expensive for the quality. The service was also slow. We would have left, but there are only three restaurants in this town.
Ok, I'm a bit conflicted about how many stars this place should get. On one hand I like the comfortable joint and the comfort food in general, on the other hand some food taste either not as I expected or flat out boring. The beef stroganoff is verymeaty but it's very salty, and I kinda don't expect nor don't like their interpretation of it. The chicken pot pie has goodcrust and meaty feelings, but again the taste is quite boring. The meatloaf has very colorful presentation which I love, comeswith lots of vegetables and onion crisps, but the meatloaf itself is kinda meh. Mac and cheese is quite flat. Salad is good, andthe quesadilla is even better. Cheese platter is great. Perhaps the desserts shine better. Apple and berry pies are good,paired with ice cream they become awesome. Cheesecake is good. Like I said, I like the joint and the service. The desserts Ilove, but the food is just so-so even with wonderful presentations. Worth coming back? Maybe
Great food and service! Came here for a rehearsal dinner and enjoyed every minute of it. I had the lemon chicken for dinner and olalliberry pie for dessert. Both were excellent! Additionally, my partner was sick and couldn't attend, but Marta (I think wasthe name) was so nice that she gave me a to go bag of tomato soup and pie to go! Such a sweet gesture! I would definitely comeback here again!
