What a surprise to see Mr Softee in California. As a native Brooklynyte I was shocked to find this place. I was skeptical at first but it did live up to what I remember back home. The workers at the store were super friendly and helpful.....I will be back. View all feedback.

This is a nostalgic ice cream shop with a charming retro vibe. The place features a few classic arcade games, adding to its old-fashioned atmosphere. I ordered the fried ice cream cone, and I thought it was quite tasty! It reminded me more of a chocolate-dipped cone coated in cinnamon sugar corn flakes (the cone itself wasn’t actually fried), but it was still enjoyable, leaving me satisfied.
The staff at the restaurant was incredibly friendly, and the ice cream was fantastic! My personal favorite is always the black cat flavor, but definitely make sure to try other items from their menu as well. They package everything in containers, which is a great help in keeping the kids from making too much of a mess. You can also rent their ice cream truck for your event!
This restaurant was lively and bustling! Although the line was lengthy, it moved quickly. The staff did an excellent job of keeping things efficient while still making everyone feel valued and welcomed. The ice cream was so delicious that we forgot to take any photos before almost finishing it all!

Classic American soft serve. Sprinkles are a must here and I’m not even a person who likes sprinkles.
