I ordered the flathead with our meals and once at home I found an inedible piece of a tail. The lemon slice was bigger than the dry thin piece of rubbish I paid $10 for.. We visit this restaurant frequently because the food is truly exceptional. The establishment is spotless, and they serve the best gravy for dipping chips, along with the freshest seafood. The chips are absolutely the best I've ever had. I've never experienced a bad or even mediocre meal here—it's always outstanding in both quality and flavor. Delicious! The staff are also friendly and efficient.
Absolutely fantastic! The salt and pepper calamari was incredible—so much so that I had high expectations for the crumbed calamari, which was still quite good. The seasoning on the chips was a refreshing departure from the usual chicken salt you find everywhere else. Two meals easily fed two adults, a child, and an infant, so the portions were generous, and everything was served hot and fresh. The gentleman at the fresh seafood counter on Saturday night was lively and humorous, and the fresh prawns were top-notch and well-priced. We'll definitely be back the next time we’re at the coast!
My parents are visiting from NZ and called in yesterday to buy some fresh fish to cook for 'their favourite son '. They said the service was excellent and were expertly directed to the Mangrove Jack which they had never tried. The fish was outstanding, and they stated 'Was the best fish they have tasted in Australia '. Thanks guys and gals.
I normally don't rate things but I was stoked with the food and service being a tradie that's worked right round our big country I would rate it in the top ten especially cause you can get a beer while you wait awesome
Absolutely outstanding! The best seafood around! We bring in an empty platter and choose our seafood, and then they return it to us filled with beautifully cleaned and presented prawns, bugs, lobster, oysters, and more.
