There was 11 of us and the was only two other couples in the restaurant. The food was good but not great with the exception of the pizza. Everyone who had the pizza was very impressed and full of complimentsOur server was very good and had no problems separating the bill for everyone. View all feedback.

Let's just say the place is SOOOOOOOO filthy. The dishes our food came out on we're DISGUSTING. The menus smelled like an old rag that cleaned vomit. The waitress had her nose all twisted for no reason as we were super polite. There was a man at the bar talking to the bartender about black people while I was sat there with my black husband. MrSchnapp's is a classic restaurant that has been around for a while. As a vegetarian, I used to feel limited because their menu didn't have many options for those who don't eat meat.
We used to go to this restaurant on Wednesdays after hockey, but we switched to OJ's because of the slow service from the staff.
Ok I normally don't write these reviews but I was so angry I couldn't resist! Went for dinner tonight in the dinner side and decided while waiting for food we would go over to the bar side and throw 20.00 in the vlt. I put my money in the machine ate it, they called the owner over and he informed me that the machine had the 20.00 so obviously it registered in the machine and I was lying. I proceeded to tell this man to go look at his security tapes if he had to to see I wasn't lying, I got no play time, I put the 20.00 in the machine ate it and then a sign came up to call for attendant. His response was he did not have all day to sit and watch tapes. I replied well we know what time it is and it will take you 30seconds to see what happened so it won't take long at all I work in the customer service industry and I deal with this stuff all the time as well. His answer to me was not my problem I don't know if your telling the truth or not and I don't care to waste my time and see and took my 20.00 out of the machine that he managed to find and pull out and put it in his pocket so he pretty much stole my 20.00 even the other people on the bar side couldn't believe it and kept shaking their heads saying it was ridiculous how this man was treating us.I understand it's only 20.00 but it's the principal of the thing and if you work in a customer service industry you don't treat your customers like that especially when we are always the only ones in the restaurant. And it was unfortunate because our waitress was a gem and was so good to us and actually said to me before we left I'm glad someone else got to see what type of person he is because he is a horrible boss and extremely unfair. Needless to say we will never return and I would suggest if anyone else doesn't want their money stolen from them then stay away
After struggling to decide on a dinner spot, a friend recommended a coworker who had been to Mr. X's restaurant before.
I used to frequent this restaurant a lot when I used to live in the area. After moving away, I was in the area and very excited to go back and have a great dinner. I would not recommend wasting your time or money. The restaurant side was completely empty, there was us and another table, the rest was empty. The waitress didn't really seem to care. Took forever to take a drink order, and then we couldn't get refills or even place our dinner order. With only having two tables you would think you would receive great service that sure did not happen.The food was disgusting. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms. So Gross! It was like the mushrooms came out of the can with fake crab ( if there was any) it was a mushy disgusting mess and $ 18.00 for 4 mushrooms such a waste of money.My medium steak was served to me medium rare with blood all over my plate. I'm not a complainer so I just ate it and when she finally came around and asked how it was I said it was pretty rare and I am not a fan of blood on my plate, she shrugged it off and didn't really say much. No apologies, no rectifying the situation, nothing. The Caesar salad had zero dressing on it, so I asked for dressing on the side and she seemed very annoyed and even said to me " there is dressing on there, it is just lightly dressed" fair enough, but usually you would expect someone to just go get the dressing, not argue with the paying patron. I couldn't get out of there soon enough and I will never go back. It is a total dive with bad service, horrible food and unfortunately they just don't care. I'm not sure how this place stays in business.The worst part is, 2 hours later I was in the bathroom and continued to be in the bathroom all night and the next day. I don't know what it was but I'm sure it was the food.Waitress was horrible, food was horrible. Stay away and save your money. Head to the moxies across the street and save money and time. This place should be shut down, maybe the Health board should look into it. Such a horrible experience and they have lost my business for good.
