We were truly amazed by the portion size and incredibly flavourful food. I had ordered a bacon cheese burger not knowing that it came as a double patty. Our fries were placed in the bag and 2 extra scoops of fries were thrown in the bag. Excellent prices for the generous amounts and quality of food. It was the closest to homemade burgers I've had as take out.We will certainly be back again!
I go at least once a week for their burgers. The burgers are actually "meat" and taste like meat. The toppings for the burgers cover any person's taste. The fries are fantastic. I have purchased burgers and fries in the afternoon as well as during the evening. I have yet to get a bad burger or greasy fries. The milkshakes are the best I have had in Calgary. No matter what time of the day, the staff in the NE location are professional and friendly. If you have questions, they take the time to answer and don't make you feel like you are holding up the line. My favourite and only place to go for burgers in Calgary.
We decided to try Five Guy's for lunch .....well first of all service was fast ....and we ate the best hamburgers I have ever eaten ....with. Fries....even. Had their New milk shake ...excellent Will definitely return or try another location just to see if it's the same ....thank you for a great meal !
I ordered the Little Cheeseburger with regular fries. The burger was quite good, although I somewhat regret adding all the extra toppings like pickles, mushrooms, onions, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise (who knew they were free?). They ended up overwhelming the burger, and I wanted to taste the patty itself, which was on the thinner side. That said, it was still a tasty burger. The fries were also great, and the regular size feels more like a large portion. They definitely overloaded the fry cup, which is a bonus in my opinion.
Very impressed with the newest location of Five guys. Finally have one in the northeast which was sorely needed. Delicious burgers and shakes.
