Was Anonym at Santelmo a mag?
highly recommended, a good one to decide for this restaurant. the meats of very good quality, very rich (we ordered cachopo and escalopinas to the goats). friendly care and fast service. impeccable cleaning. the very rich desserts too. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Santelmo:
The octopus and the mashed potatoes was fine, but the cheese table didn't recommend it at all, it seemed like they had a month in the fridge and insipid except the goats. the fried milk knew of raw flour, with a bounce like that of the Sanjacobos and super bathed in cinnamon. The deal was no more, it was not contempt, but it was ruthless. View all feedback.
Very delicious food, 4 out 4 liked their dish, especially the desserts were amazing. Friendly staff and good coffee in the morning.
Today we stopped for a light lunch. Both my stepfather and I were wanting a nice salad. We ordered the chicken salad with a mustard dressing and the shrimp (large) salad. The greens were fresh and delicious, as well as the light dressings and proteins. The portions were generous. We also had a nice glass of white wine, sparkling water, and the most delicious bread, served warm, we have had in Spain (not a sourdough, but pretty close). It was just what we needed. The restaurant is in the heart of this small town, and quite pleasant. The server was efficient and accommodating. The whole lunch came to 51 Euros.
Typical Spanish dishes. Bub food rather than restaurant style. Don't let the triste exterior fool you. We had a nice dinner with good service despite the language barrier.
A good choice for lunch, they made a slight adjustment to something on the menu for us as we didn't eat red meat.....gave us chicken instead......very tasty and good service, and very good price. Never rushed us as we had to kill some time after lunch before our cheese cave visit nearby but it was no problem
They do a very good Men Del Día for 13€ which is excellent. We then went in again for drinks and a Tabla de Queso as so many of the other restaurants were closed, but the Tabla wasn´t great to be honest. The main reason to come here is for the Men of the Day.
