We stopped at Sunshine Vegan Eats on our way to Niagara and it did not disappoint! We started with the Impossible Egg Rolls and the Loaded 893 Nachos. Definitely go with the egg rolls amazing flavor combination and so crispy. I would pass on the nachos next time, as they weren’t anywhere near as good as the egg rolls. We both had the Impossible Niyah Vegan Steak Hoagie and it was ridiculously good…like a REAL cheesesteak. Smooshy bun, cheesy, delicious chopped steak….just beyond expectation in a great way. We also tried the oatmeal cookies and they were great, too. As others have stated, not necessarily something for eating every day, but sometimes you need great vegan comfort food and this is definitely the place to go.
I love this place. It took me a while to order because their menu is huge. I got the chicken tenders with a side of mac. We also tried the daily dip made with spinach and artichoke (SO creamy). I recommend getting some cookies for desert because they were delicious! Will definitely go back if i'm ever in the are again.
This place just gets better and better every time I go. Went for Black Restaurant Week and got 3 of the 5 specials. Everything was outstanding. Might be the best vegan mac&cheese ever. Everything was excellent and bursting with flavor. The fried chicken mushrooms had an excellent crunch. Highly recommend.
Almost went into shocked when I first saw the menu here! There are so many delicious options- basically all the comfort food you could want. And it all tastes so good that it just melts in your mouth. The chicken and waffles was something I've been cravingfor like a year and I think this is my favorite vegan version I've tried! The bbq rib platter was just divine. It was soflavorful and filling with the sides of mac n cheez, baked beans and cornbread. Shrimp was great too! Honestly I have no doubtthat everything on the menu is fantastic. This would be a great place to bring non veg friends to show them the potential ofvegan food. Just make sure to save room for dessert! The peach cobbler and cookies were such a nice sweet treat. The restaurantowner is a super passionate and lovely woman who is always adding more to the menu. She has created a very welcoming, warm,friendly place that is very special. I only wish I lived closer.
Could not have asked for better vegan soul food! the plates were so filling and felt like I was eating a home cooked meal. the employees were incredibly kind and offered us smoothies on the house when we mentioned it was our first time there. we willdefinitely be back! thanks guys! ??
