great experience in root and bloom. we had a member of our party stuck at work and they were very accommodating. Eating was excellent. my legal daughter is vegetarian and it was her birthday so it was a perfect fit. my son and I are not and it was still a perfect fit. waffel taco was great. the session is limited so that reservations must be one. The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere, although it is quite small. Our waitress was friendly, but the service was a bit slow, and she wasn't as attentive as I would have liked. My new favorite restaurant in Buffalo! Amazing vegan food that even non-vegans will love. I have had the jackfruit buffalo wings, french onion soup, cauliflower steak, and the pedro (breakfast taco thing on a waffle). Everything I've had was great.
One of my favorite vegan restaurants ever! The food is outstanding and you can most definitely convert any vegan skeptic into realizing that vegan food doesn't mean raw veggies.
Big Mood is one of the few fully plant-based restaurants in Buffalo, and it definitely lives up to its reputation. I've tried their burgers and sandwiches, and they were absolutely delicious. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food. Additionally, the customer service was friendly and inviting. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends, whether they are vegan or not. The food here appeals to everyone!
I highly recommend this restaurant! We ordered three dishes: the Buffalo Mac and Cheese, BBQ Wings, and the Good Mood Bowl, and I have to say, every single one was fantastic. The wings, made from jackfruit, were incredibly tasty, the Mac and Cheese was delightful, and the Good Mood Bowl was wonderfully refreshing. I will definitely be returning to try more dishes!
Big Mood, previously Root Bloom Cafe, is finally open! I went during their soft opening, so I had to come to the location to place my order. First of all, the look of the restaurant is adorable! The branding, colors, and design are so pleasing. There’s a convenient ordering kiosk inside, as well as a spot to order from an actual person. The service was great, so friendly! Absolutely LOVED what I ordered. The Fiesta Lime Chickpea bowl was so full of flavors and so fresh and filling. The cashier recommended the Sour Cream Chive Waffle Fries, and I’m so glad because they were TASTY. Can’t wait to come and order again (and buy one of the cute Big Mood shirts) and try more of the menu!
