Was Anonym at Zexe a mag?
We were lucky to identify this restaurant. The food is really Romanian and of the highest quality, the atmosphere is romantic and quiet, live music with a singer is relaxing. The staff is great, polite and helpful. Everything is good from appetizers to dessert and the wine is good. What Anonym dislikes about Zexe:
We had a family evening and decided to go to Zexe. Our choices of dishes shouldn't be difficult to cook, but we had an unpleasant surprise. The kids' breaded park was very thin, the meet had cartilages and fat. Our picky kids couldn't eat them.The second surprise came when we required fresh squeezed orange juice. In a very good location in Bucarest in an old but refurbish vila, this restaurant is best choice if you visit Bucarest or if you want eat romanian food very tasty and good looking. The staff is discret, frendly, well informed and make good recomandation from an impressive wine collection. The cost is medium high but it deserve all the money. I recomend this place for any kind of event or visit.
The food was quite good , the drinks very good and the waiters very careful with the guests.Although everything was very good the prices are high and not for every pocket especially if is not paid by company or if is not a business lunch.
Food came after a very long time. I ordered Argentinain beef and asked for it to be medium, I received a cold and very well-made share. But by far, the cherry was the little stone I found in my final salad. The service was pretty bad.
This restaurant is a very good choice to have a taste of romanian food. The staff is friendly and well informed, can make good recomandation for your choice of wine. The dessert is also very good. It was difficult for us to make a choice for the dessert from the menu, so the waiter presented us a large plateau with almost all the cakes, explaining their composition.
