By far the worst dining experience we had in Bucharest. The reviews seem extremely positive so we wanted to give a try but after arriving to the place (which is pretty far away from the center) we encountered one disappointment after another. The menus are only in Romanian, the waitress didn 't speak a word of English, which isn 't a disaster but she 's apparently too lazy to write the orders down and after ordering in Romanian, with literally pointing to what we wanted on the menu in case we pronounced it wrong, she came back and asked what we ordered TWICE. They didn 't have any cola, even though it was on the menu, they didn 't give us any glasses for Fanta or beers, so we had to drink out of the bottles, the lemonade with mint had one mint leaf and a quarter of a slice of lemon in it and the glass they brought it in was sticky. We ordered 3 pizzas and pasta carbonara and had to wait for OVER AN HOUR for the food while the restaurant was practically empty (the 4 of us and 2 other guests were there) the pizzas were average I guess but the penne pasta was overcooked to the point it was difficult to even get it on the fork because it was falling apart while the pork was undercooked and difficult to chew. The prices aren 't high but considering what you get... It 's a disaster. Oh and they still had Halloween decorations up on the 23rd of November but that just shows how slow they are. This restaurant was a true discovery for us in Bucharest. From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. The staff is unbelievably warm and welcoming, making you feel instantly at home—like you're visiting close friends, even on your first visit. Subtle Italian music fills the air, immediately uplifting your mood, and the whole space exudes a cozy charm. What truly sets this place apart is the level of personal care: the owner actively engages with guests, inquiring about their impressions and ensuring you are enveloped in comfort throughout the entire evening. We ordered the pizza, drawn in by the stellar reviews, and every single one of them proved to be true. This isn't just great pizza; it's arguably better than what you find in much of Italy. Literally, the first bite made us fall in love—it completely perfected our evening. The crust is pure artistry: fluffy, airy, wonderfully crisp, and incredibly flavorful. The toppings are generous and taste like the best ingredients we have ever savored. The portions are substantial and truly hearty. We will absolutely be back to explore the rest of their menu. This spot is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic, memorable, and comforting dining experience.
