Was Anonym at Jazzbook a mag?
View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Jazzbook:
We ordered salads, after 30min they came to tell us that one kind of a salad is not the menu. They came to tell us this after we asked why the food is not coming. Only the place is nice, not the serving! View all feedback.

I'm an American visiting Bucharest and was fortunate enough to have some locals bring me and my husband to this fabulous place for a night of live jazz. Just wow! Everything about it was great. The music was off the chain (no cover which we really appreciated)- a three piece group that would hold up in any jazz club. The venue offers cozy comfortable romantic seating as well as tables for those who are dining. It's not a big place but it never felt crowded or stuffy. I'd highly recommended checking it out. The food looked and smelled great too. Colorful, fresh and beautifully presented. Our friends scarfed a pizza and raved about it.
I guess the main attraction of this place are the jazz events, however I went to lunch several times (due to proximity) and the impression was rather poor. For starters the menu pages were flying around, so among the group we were literally asking each other: does anyone have the page with pizzas / desert / coffees? It's embarrassing, since this is the first impression you get. The food is average it terms of taste and setup, but the drinks were looking pretty fine (thumbs up for the bartender). In terms of prices: coffees range from 11 RON (cafe latte) - 14 RON (frappe varieties). Pastas and pizzas are around 22-24 RON. They serve also salads, soups and many other things. The service is average; we've seen the waitress only when taking the order, bringing the drinks and the bill. Sometimes it took longer to cook the food, other times it went a bit better. Not sure if the place is pet friendly, but I've seen dogs allowed inside (I guess they belong to the owner since they had their food bowls near the bar). To avoid any misinterpretation: if it is pet friendly they have a bonus star from my side (which they'll receive when they fix the menus).
It's a beautiful location, the service is great and the food is delicious. It makes you think of Greece.
