Every dish boasts quality ingredients prepared with expertise, but the real star is the wild halibut, an absolutely standout offering that celebrates the fish 's fine quality in a creative and delightful way. While the rest of the menu is executed well, nothing matches the wow of the halibut. The scallops, eel, sirloin and duck are enjoyable but not extraordinary. Deserts are tasty but miss a unique punch. View all feedback.
There were several service mishaps, including the omission of a glass of red wine (which they graciously offered on the house), a dropped pre-dessert, and they accidentally served shellfish to my wife, who has an allergy. As a result, I had to enjoy the fish course alone while they prepared a new dish for her. Given the high price point, especially without a star, these issues significantly detracted from the experience. Additionally, the canapés were rather bland and lacked flavor. The mushroom custard dish was unconventional, but we both found it unappealing and left some of it uneaten. Overall, while it was a pleasant dining experience, it fell short of Michelin standards, and at such a high price, I wouldn't consider returning.
I had a wonderful time spending a few hours enjoying fine wines with dear friends. The service was top-notch, and the location was perfect. Overall, a delightful experience!

It was our first visit (a Birthday celebration) and its certainly won't be our last. The entire dining experience was faultless. We received a warm welcome, enjoyed stunning oer d'oeuvres and fizz, before moving into the restaurant for the exquisite 7 course tasting menu which was accompanied by superb well thought out drinks pairing. A social mention to Sommelier Boris, whose knowledge and passion shone through and made sure that we had a memorable experience. Hats off to Chef Elliot and team. Chester should be proud!
