Was User at Peck 20 a mag?
two times for lunch. the banh mi veggie both took paint and specifically asked that the mayo vegan is made. the personal was friendly enough to do it. the train mi is delicious. they also have a chocolate banana cake that is quite large. I was with the family without veg to breakfast. the choice of the options was not in the sense to bash, but the chocolate banana cake was absolutely delicious and price wise okay. View all feedback.
We went there knowing that the service is not the fastest. Given that, it's an excellent place for breakfast or brunch. The menu convinced us immediately and coffee was delicious. Definite recommendation, if you are not under time pressure, as it took 25 minutes to get our food. However, it was definitely worth it!
Hemingway eggs bennedict were really good. Presentation was great. Only thing I would say here is, today unfortunately there was only one waiter at the restaurant, restaurant is full, he is the only one serving, cleaning, and doing practically everything. Poor guy. I hope its not like this every day. It could have a potential for great service with at least 3 people instead of one. Something to consider.
Second morning in Brussels and we looked for a place to have breakfast and we came across Peck 20. The reviews are great and I trust my fellow yelpers so we checked them out. I can only say that we were seated within 3 minutes of arriving but after 30 minutes of waiting to have our order taken we decided to leave. There were some couples who waited 10 or 15 minutes and left but we wanted to give Peck 20 a chance to live up to the reviews. It didn't happen, we were never approached, told it would be a few minutes...nothing! I can only speak of our experience and I will never be back to Peck 20. The food may be good but my time is more valuable then waiting and waiting and not being acknowledged.
Finally! A great place to enjoy breakfast and brunch in Brussels! My only request is please include 'huevos rancheros ' in your menu! :
