Carlos and Anita are excellent hosts, so be sure to tip them generously! The food is also fantastic, making it the complete package. This is a charming, down-to-earth neighborhood cocktail bar that offers excellent food!
The cocktail names here are incredibly creative, and I adore how they use books to create their menus! I had my heart set on trying the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, but unfortunately, they were missing an ingredient. Instead, I opted for Wonka's Fizzy Lifting Drink, which is refreshing and perfect for those hot summer days. This place is definitely worth a visit for a fantastic cocktail!
The wine list here is fantastic, and they're more than willing to let you sample a selection before making your choice. The menu is presented in an old book format, which adds a nice touch. It's a popular spot to visit before catching a show at Barclays Center. Once the performance begins, or on quieter nights, the atmosphere becomes much more relaxed. I've been once and the bartenders treated me as if I was a regular. The draft list is small but they are quality beers. The cocktail I ordered was very well crafted, a nice twist on a last word. Nice selection of bourbons and a great happy hour. Because of the location they will get busy for Barclays' events so plan accordingly.
Great place to grab some nice drinks. Insanely good happy hour deals $5 drafts can get it). The setup is a bit counter intuitive to conversation its a giant U), but you can make it work for you. The staff is one of the friendliest I’ve had in the area, which is always a pleasant bonus!
